DIINING WITH JESUS

I find it wonderful that in Exodus 24:9-11 that Moses and many of the leaders of Israel actually saw God. Now we know that 'no man has ever seen God and lived' yet here they apparently not only see Him, the eat with Him, so I think the God they saw was Jesus since God the father is Spirit. They do mention His feet(not a spirit), and I believe that Jesus ate with them. Jesus has made other appearances in the old testament with Abraham, and also in the furnace with the friends of Daniel. Interesting that in the new testament Jesus ate with His disciples even after he was resurrected, and also that Jesus said of Himself "The Son of man comes eating and drinking". I know that when we meet Jesus in heaven that we will eat with Him and that we will have physical bodies, just as Jesus has.
So, what do we do with this? Do we find it intimate and comforting? Does it help us, even just a little, to feel closer to Him
