As for Sarah Palin. It is huge to me that she is not a politician, and though she may not have as much international experience as others she will pick it up fast, and hopefully bring in a fresh approach. Its not like any of our present approaches are that great anyhow. One of the reasons that Rome fell was due to the lack of a moral compass. What is the moral compass for the U.S., the Supreme Court? Many people see Sarah as a return to a moral compass. People seem to either love or hate Sarah. They love her because she takes Christianity seriously, and tries to live that way, and because she seems to be a 'regular' person whom they can relate to. They hate her for the same reasons. Christ said that they will hate you because of me, referring to the world. Their is no rational here. Sarah exemplifies light in a dark world, and one example of this would be the birth of her last child. Love her or hate her but know this. She is what most would call a radical Christian, why? because she tries to follow the bible. Many call themselves Christians but have no idea what the bible even says. The bible says that abortion is the same as murder. It says that life starts at conception, hence, so called womans rights are nothing more than a disguise for the American holocaust. Since the democratic platform is pro womens rights and the republican is pro life I and other Christians cannot vote for any democrat. People may not like or understand that, but it is the way it is. There are many who call themselves Christians who will vote for Obama, but they are not following Christ by doing this. Jesus said "be ye either hot or cold or I will spew you out of my mouth!"
What I am trying to say is this. I am a conservative, and believe in less government, and less taxes, and fighting for what is right, but these 'issues' pail in comparison to trying to follow Jesus. God will either protect this country, as He has in the past, or He will not. Our best defence then is to please Him, and stop trying to please ourselves.

Really?? Please don't question how I follow Christ based on who I vote for. This is why people call us Christians judgmental.
